Description: One of my favorite Forex Oscillator and one of the very few indicators I have not been able to improve upon. The TSI is the difference between a short moving average and a long moving average of 1-bar momentum using double smoothing. The traditional settings are a 13 bar long EMA and a 5 bar short EMA. A 5 bar EMA signal line provides entry and exit points. Other versions use triple smoothing (with different settings), but I still prefer the double smoothed version. Usage: Crossovers, divergences. |
